[G&D] Ancient Arena (Little May) Speed Run

[G&D] Ancient Arena (Little May) Speed Run

Gumballs & Dungeons Guides

The purpose of this guide is speed farming Ancient Arena and farming gumball fragments as well as Little May fragments by killing all the audience up to floor 95 (including). For those who don’t know killing the audience in the Ancient Arena gives gumballs fragments. This is random and depends on the type of audience present.

We will use Adventurer main allowing us to also farm Warrior and Little May fragments. In the process you will also gain around 155k coins.

Detailed guide can be found here:
gumballsanddungeonsguides.wordpress.com/2019/11/07/ancient-arena-little-may-fragment-farming-guide/

Prerequisites

Autobots  is required for this run because we will be relying on the Stun effect that he brings to Earthquake .

Team composition

Adventurer  main with soul-links Athena  and Little May .

* Adventurer - when he is in the team there is a chance that Gumball Villager can appear on each floor. You may also encounter Warrior gumball. They both can be recruited by Athena.
* Athena is used to recruit Gumball Villager's and the Warrior gumball from Adventurer.
* Little May is used for the buffs obtained when opening each slate. The buffs are having double effect if Adventurer is in the team.

Artifact
Necklace of Legendary Mage is used because of the guaranteed 3 Timestills .

Potions
Werewolf Potion – used for boosting a Gumball Villager and Warrior summon. More information on how to summon it following below.

Titles
* Venture - We are going for Holy Blacksmith in order to make Earth Spell Book . The titles that you will need are Treasure Seeker (3), Explorationist (1), Blacksmith (1), Royal Blacksmith (1), Holy Blacksmith (1), Enhance Attack (2), Enhance HP (3).
* Magic - We are going for Legendary Mage through the White Mage three e.g. Magic Apprentice (3), White Mage (1), Priest (1), Air Master (3), Legendary Mage (1), Enhance Power (3) to increase the effect of all aid spells by 30% , Enhance MP (3) to increase rounds of all aid spells by 3, Artifact Enhancement (3) to obtain 3 Timestill.

Play style

Floor 1-65:
Summon Gumball Villagers and let them do the work. Before summoning make sure that you open all slates to get more buffs from Little May and cast Bless.

At around floor 20 you should have enough EP to make an Earth Spell Book. Do it and then equip it. The Earthquake spells that we will obtain from it are vital after floor 65.

Keep using Gumball Villagers to fight and if they die re-summon them. At around level 50 you can upgrade the Magic titles as noted above. This will buff Bless and improve the summons.

Check the magic shops that you encounter for Blade of Ruin and if you see one buy it.

Floor 65:
When you reach floor 65 make sure that you don't have summons or if you do they have little HP so that they can die on this floor before you enter the Arena.

This is the floor where where we will summon extremely buffed summons that will clear the rest of the maze. If you have obtained Warrior gumball summon by now even better. He is much better than the Villagers. If you don't the Villagers are still fine. You will just need to be a little bit careful on the last floors. To summon follow the steps below:
* right after you enter the floor
* use Werewolf potion 3 times
* kill all enemies except one
* collect all the items and open all the slates
* kill the last enemy
* cast all your spells that can be self-casted (make sure that you keep one Electrostatic Field and one Blade of Ruin). Make sure to stop at around 10 rounds left on the Werewolf potion.
* cast Electrostatic Field then cast Blade of Ruin
* summon a Warrior (is you have one otherwise Villager) summon Villager

Floors 66-95:
Right after you enter a floor cast Earthquake this will open all the slates and stun all the enemies. Leave the fight to the summons. Just loot and continue down.

Tip: You can upgrade Explorationist to 3 star and start using the Explorationist's Compass. You can use it every second floor to obtain more coins during the run. The first few times it will reward you with 2000 coins but this upgrades to 3000 and then 4000 the more you use it. Using it 9 times results in 27k additional coins per run.

At boos floors 70 and 80 use Icicle or Gravity . Make sure that you have the 3 extra turns from Legendary Mage.

Use Timestill + Disrupting Ray on floors 85, 90, and 95.

Congrats you made it. Collect your reward and quit the maze.

Note that this is not a 100% guaranteed run. In rare occasions you might not have enough Earthquake spells or you might not have Warrior summon or Blade of Ruin. You can still finish it without Warrior if you have Blade of Ruin or vice versa. It's not working however if you don't have bought.

* kill the last enemy
